Rental terms

$75 fee is for ONE (1) WEEK RENTAL and includes USPS Priority Mail shipping to the renter (Continental U.S. Only) and one of the adapters listed below.  Additional adapters are available upon request for an additional $5 weekly fee.   The rental period begins once tracking shows the unit has been delivered and ends once return tracking shows the unit is in route back to Handyman's Tool Crib. The renter is responsible for return shipping.  Please contact us if other shipping options are desired.

If the renter keeps the unit for more than one (1) week, each additional week is billed at only $50 per week beginning on the 8th day from the original delivery date. Payment for additional weeks is due at the start of each billing cycle. This billing cycle will continue on the first day of each consecutive week until the unit is marked as shipped back to seller. 
The listed price does not include a deposit of $600 for the scanner and $50 for each additional adapter requested.  Click the Send Rental Request button below and provide the the requested renter information. 

Handyman's Toolcrib only Venmo or credit card payments.  Upon receipt of your rental request, we'll contact you to confirm your request and payment option.  The deposit will be returned via the payment service used immediately upon receipt and verification of the unit and adapters in the condition they were delivered and any additional rental billings have been paid. Failure to pay at the beginning of the billing period for an additional rental week will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.  Failure to return the scanner will result in a report of theft to police.


The renter is responsible for the proper and safe operation of the scanner and any damage to the unit during the rental period(s).  Repair fees will be deducted from the deposit.  The deposit will not be returned if the unit has to be replaced.  Handyman's Tool Crib assumes no liability for the renter's use of the scanner package.

The rental includes the TechMate Pro Scan Tool, for use on most stern drive / inboard / outboard engines with instruction manuals plus one adapter. Limited technical support is available by contacting Rinda Support directly.
